Lisa Reid, Family Relationship Manager – Unique Community Services, Bristol

Lisa started her career as a Facilities Manager in security, but always had an interest in care. After being made redundant she decided to pursue her dream of working in the care sector.

She applied for the Placement Coordinator role at Catalyst Care Group and joined the family to manage clinicians covering out-of-hours shifts. She absolutely loved this role as she had dedicated time to building relationships with the clinicians, away from the hustle and bustle of the office. She also got a buzz out of having to arrange cover for things like emergency hospital shifts. Lisa has not looked back since making the move to work in care.

She then went on to leading a team before becoming the Clinician Success Manager. She was in this role for two years, where she supported clinicians. Not only did Lisa make sure that the company was looking after all of our clinicians, she also ensured that there was an alignment of values between the Group and clinicians.

Lisa is in her seventh year with the Catalyst Care Group and is now the Family Relationship Manager for Unique Community Services, Bristol. She is excited to be in this new role, putting her relationship management skills to good use, and working alongside Vicki Morieson (Registered Manager) to build the business from the ground up together.

On a personal level Lisa has a passion for mental health and is fascinated how people can support each other in difficult times. She also applies this thinking to her dad, who has Alzheimer’s, to help him to live his best life.
