We are putting in place the following protocol to ensure you have up-to-date information and the guidance you need to make informed decisions on a day-by-day basis. Following Boris Johnson’s daily/afternoon announcements, we will email you by 10 am the following morning with a detailed update on any specific risks associated with the services you work for, and with details on our response to the Government’s latest update. We are in constant communication with the services you work for. If they were to, unfortunately, suffer an outbreak, please be assured we will share this information with you, including:
- what steps they have taken to deep clean the service
- what steps have been taken to isolate individuals
- the next steps, such as personal protective equipment being made available, going forward
This information will help you make informed decisions about your shifts. The decision you make as to whether or not to work for a service which has a potential or confirmed case, will be fully supported and respected. If you decide to work for a service which has been exposed, we will work with the service to ensure any additional and/or specialist training requirements are fulfilled in support of your role. We ask that you take the following steps which are consistent with government advice: – If you or your family exhibit any signs of the virus, self-isolate and let us know immediately. Please also inform us if there is an outbreak at any of the services you may work for outside of The Catalyst Group. (We do not need to know the names of the services). – For your own safety, inform us immediately of any longstanding health conditions which may put you at risk or if you are pregnant, so we can notify the services with whom you are working. – To help reduce the likelihood of catching the virus, we recommend social isolation. Day by day, we are witnessing the speed of contamination and its detrimental effects. With no vaccine currently on the horizon, we advise not leaving it up to chance, so unless it’s critical for you to attend a social gathering, we recommend only attending critical commitments and to spend time at home. At all times, your safety and wellbeing is our number one
