As you are aware Nurseline changed its scheduling system and now uses Sirenum an app that has been made available to you to download and use.
Until now we have allowed for enough time between both parties to get familiar with the system and app.
Kindly note, it is imperative you start using the app to clock in and out for every shift you service.
The app validates your shift and feeds us the hours you have worked allowing us to pay you accordingly.
If this does not get done it will, unfortunately, impact and affect your pay and this is the last thing we want, therefore any questions or help please do contact us.
When you fail to log in and out, you risk having to delay the processing of your pay by 3 weeks, as it requires a manual process.
You will also be needed to log your breaks on the app by clicking the start and end break button which will appear once you have started your shift.
MySirenum app and Nurseline does not track your GPS location, travel or any other aspect of your mobile phone.
The reason for allowing MySirenum to access your GPS coordinates is for the purposes of taking a snapshot. When you press “Confirm” for a shift, the system assumes you are at home, based on the details stored by Nurseline. This is only used by Nurseline to ensure your shift is covered and you can start at the scheduled time. Once the snapshot of the location has been taken no other information is required.
When you select Start and End a snapshot of the GPS coordinates is taken to ensure you are within 200m of the site location. Think of this like an access card. In order to gain access to a building, you need a security pass. Your phone is the security pass to the site. This snapshot is only used by Nurseline to confirm with the client you have started/ended the shift. Once the snapshot of the location has been taken the GPS information is no longer required.
